Whenever we arrive at our home in the Hamptons, the first thing I do is take a shopping trip to all my favorite places – my mother calls it “checking my traps”. She nailed it. I do like to check my “traps” to get my favorite ingredients or see what is new or interesting that has appeared since I was last there.
